"At the Vitebsk Art Institute, where Malevich taught from 1919 to 1922, he replaced Marc Chagall as director. "This is incorrect, Malevich never was a director of The Vitebsk Art Institute. And he never replaced Chagall. He was indeed a school leader . But director of the school at that time was Ermolaeva, not him.
